How to talk about diversity

March is finally here and we can’t wait for spring to begin. Yay allergies!

Unlocking tech talent stories

March 2, 2017

This is also the perfect time to talk about nothing more than…wait for it…diversity in the workplace. The past few weeks brought us a number of developments for and against diversity, so we think it is the perfect time to give it a go.

Stick with us during the month and hear all we have to say about how you can benefit from working with different people. Up for the challenge?

This is what we’re aiming for:

It’s a small world after all

We’re starting the month with an up close view of the different types of diversity in the workplace and a clear understanding of why this is an important topic in today’s world. Get to know all the amazing groups fighting for more diversity around the world of tech. Read all about it here.

Online Meetup: Why diversity in tech matters

To give this topic a real shake we’ll top it off with an online meetup about the importance of diversity and inclusion in the tech industry. Join us and hear our speakers’ experiences and know all about what they have to say on why diversity in tech is so important; what is behind the inclusion and diversity gap in tech; and what we can do about it. You can check all about it here.

People of the world

We love to hear more about our community and their experiences and this month we want to take it to slack. We want you to share with us what makes you different, how’ve you experienced diversity and how do you see it playing a role on the workplace. Don’t be shy and join us on our Slack team. We’ll let you know more about it soon.

And that’s it! This month we have a lot to cover and we want you to have the scoop on everything.

If you want to know more about what we’ll be doing, follow us on Facebook and Twitter, or join our Slack community! Also, feedback is always welcome. Let us know what you would like Landing.jobs to talk about in upcoming months. We’re a very curious bunch.
