The Future.Works Lisbon Tech Conference 2021 is back once again to join tech talent and companies. Formerly known as Landing Festival, the event is now increasingly assuming a strong community element, based on innovative and useful content for IT professionals and recent graduates.
But the coolest part about this year’s edition is its theme: a hall of fame about the world’s most memorable moments in tech — built entirely thanks to the contributions of the tech community itself. With this theme, we intend to use the unexpected great technological feats to pose the paradoxical question: what if you made your decisions in a way that you were building your past from the future?
It’s important to reflect about what role technology plays in the continuous change of reality, which is why we’ll count on leading figures and pioneers from its history, but that are relatively unknown. The technological community is, above all, made up of strangers. Everyone’s a pioneer, creators of possible futures.
Celebrate and learn from tech leaders and pioneers
That’s why one of the confirmed speakers is none other than the creator of what is probably considered the world’s best known communications encryption technology (PGP Protocol), Philip Zimmermann.
We have a lineup of amazing speakers and leaders in the tech industry, eager to share their knowledge and experience with you! Take Andre Saez, for instance: she’s Senior Product Marketing Manager at airfocus, with more than 10 years of experience working in Product and a journey through Zendesk.
Or Pietro Basso, iOS Engineer at N26, who’s also worked at Samsung and has helped create a Unity video game. And Holly Williams, Akimbo Core’s founder, who’s been working in the cybersecurity space for at least 14 years!
