We’re not going to be discussing your horoscope for the new year, which and how many books you should definitely read in 2016 (anyone setting a new Goodreads challenge?), and we’re not sharing tips on how to get the perfect waistline.
We are taking this opportunity to challenge you, simply because no one does it for you anymore. Nowadays, professionals have to manage themselves and their career on their own; 50-year permanent roles have kicked the curb and they’re not coming back. Your career is what you make of it now — be it by constantly improving your skills, scouting a mentor’s guidance, or networking with the professionals that can directly mold your career.
